Next Assassin’s Creed set in Victorian London

Merely days after the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, it has been revealed that next year’s game will take place in 19th century London and will be called Assassin’s Creed Victory (like “Victorian”, geddit?)

The annual open-world action game is due for release late 2015 and it will be out next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC (so, no last-gen consoles).

The annual Assassin’s Creed franchise has seen calls from some fans to take a year off, but that doesn’t appear to be happening. The current progress of Victory looks quite impressive so far, still, it was just a week ago that Ubisoft had to apologise for the tech issues marring Assassin’s Creed Unity. Average reviews of Unity haven’t helped.

Some behind-closed-doors gameplay footage has revealed trains and carriages, fights on moving vehicles and a grappling hook.
